Let me ask you this, where did summer go so fast?
Did you see what you wanted to see? Did you create what you wanted to create?
Okay, enough nostalgia, our next Adobe Learning Group will be in October ( October 31st, costume optional). RSVP coming!
Happy Fall and just to recap last August’s meeting (sorry a little late…busy…busy Summer-early Fall), Matt May dropped on us why access…

Thanks to everyone who made it out to Fremont on such a sunny Seattle day. It was great seeing familiar faces and new folks as well.
As content developers, we receive some pretty "interesting" source images from clients to incorporate seamlessly into our projects, so we asked Gordon Modin, a busy Seattle freelancer to show us how to work magic and heal images using Photoshop CS3.
We got to check out a bunch of useful tips such as the healing and patch tool, color adjustments lay…

Yes it is! Thanks so much for hosting the meetings. I had a good time, the pizza was great, and although I presently don't use Photoshop, I do have the cs3 version just waiting to be used :) I really hadn't had the time to play with it and was a bit intimidated by its power ;) Maybe I will play with it more and really impress my boss!
I would love to attend a session that deals solely with Cp scorm/aicc courses. Our LMS uses with gradepoint and sumtotal. I have run into a lot of headaches making Cp work for us but I refuse to toss it ya know? As you probably saw on my biz card, I am a Language Specialist but as of this year I have taken on the role of curriculum desgin and work closely with Masco HQ and Masco University. A fortune 500 company, not sure if you know of them. I was a computer science major back in 1999 and loved webpage design and graphics...I took a long break just to find myself back in the role of using code and manipulating/troubleshooting web based programs. :) I really love my job, and am glad to move into an area that was once just a hobby, and now I get paid to play. My goal is to know Cp and make it work for our company to use for teaching and assessments on our LMS.
Oh and the other aspect of my job, I administer Rosetta Stone Online for 50 of our employees. Actually I have put together a 12 module Spanish Training course in Cp of industry specific terms and vocabulary. I have put many hours into this project, but unfortunately have been unable to publish to LMS successfully :(
Well, enough about me. I hope to return for the next meeting. Daytime is great because I live in Portland and I have plenty of time to drive home before dark.
There are a few other members of the group from Masco HQ's University. We have been following discussions regularly (thank God for RSS) and hope to see more interest and participation so we can pick more brains.
Thanks again! Janelle
